Building awareness about resource conservation through repair and re-use

The Quick-and-Dirty approach.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we must put our monthly 2nd-Saturday repair events on hiatus. If you would like to be kept "in the loop'" on our re-opening plans, please send us an e-mail asking to be added to our mailing list.
In the meantime, we are posting Weekly Repair Videos, curated by our lonely volunteer repair coaches :-) .

For best gluing, your RCRC team recommend pre-cleaning surfaces to be glued with alchohol, naptha, lacquer thinner, etc., depending on the material to be glued. Test cleaning agents on a scrap or a hidden area to check for possible damage.

Our Mission

Repair Café is a grassroots organization dedicated to raising awareness that we can reduce harmful resource extraction, prevent resource over-consumption and ease the burden on landfills by repairing our broken household goods and keeping them in service. At our monthly repair clinics, skilled volunteers will assist with repairing the broken or non-functional items you bring in.

Owning what you purchase means owning the right to repair it.

“THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AWAY. WHEN YOU THROW SOMETHING AWAY, IT MUST GO SOMEWHERE.”

Annie Leonard

In-person repair clinics are on hiatus until further notice.
